After speaking, more than once, directly with eye witnesses to the Attempted Murder event, we have pieced together the following details.
The Event took place where Thistlemoor meets Braemar. Braemar has cement blocks at the end of the street which stops cars from traveling into the DCE development. There were three vechicles on the street that day. There was a Bell Canada Repair truck (B1) and two police vechicles. The police vechicle at the top of the diagram had 2 officers who were standing about 10 ft from their car. (O1, O2) Two OPP officers (O3,O4) and two US ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms) officers (A1, A2) were in an unmarked van about 60 ft from the 1st police car. Both Police vechicles were facing away from the DCE development. There were three eye witnesses that day marked W1, W2, W3 where W2 is the Bell Repairman. The square boxes are residents' homes. This whole event took place in front of people's driveways. The Bell repairman was in the area because one house had it's phone lines cut in three places. |

Two vechicles of natives protesters came down the street (not from DCE area) and blocked the Police Van. (N1 to N4) The Native's clearly felt they had free reign to control the streets of Caledonia.
Remember all 4 officers are in the van while the other 2 OPP officers are standing about 50 ft away from the Police Van (about 10 ft from their own Police car). OPP O1 & O2 make no move toward the van to to try to find out what is happening, or to help if required, nor, according to witnesses, did they move to radio for backup. |

At this time Native 1 (N1) has forced out the driver of the van and the Two US ATF officers are now out of the van as well.
Native 2 (N2) jumps into the van while Native 1 takes over the driving. W1 is calling to OPP O1 & O2 to help the other officers but both do nothing. Once the natives have control of the van, OPP O4, who is stil in the back of the van, jumps out the back of the van. Officers O1 & O2 now move back towards their police car. |

Native 4 (N4) drives one native car down Thistlemoor while Native 3 (N3) drives the other native car back down Breamar.
The OPP O1 & O2 are now sitting in their car both taking no steps to help their fellow offiicers or any steps to stop the crimes being committed. OPP O4 now is hurt on the road because of his jump from the van. Although there has been plenty of time to respond, no OPP officers have pulled their guns out or taken any action to prevent the crimes being committed. Native 1 (N1) now is driving the van but must do a u-turn to head back into the DCE development. At this point the OPP in the police car could have simply moved their car to block the escape of the thieves. Once the van is turned around the driver drives directly toward OPP O4 who is seriously hurt - this is where the attempted murder takes place. OPP O4 is pulled away before being hit and the native driver drives down Breamar right past OPP O1 & O2 who have neither moved their car nor done anything to help their fellow officers. |

OPP take NO STEPS to prevent crime nor any steps to provide Safety to the Residents nearby.
|
|
| The Native driver, in doing the u-turn, had to drive over parts of people's property. Instead of driving directly towards the OPP the Native driver could have easily decided to head toward any one of the three witnesses just feet away. The OPP took No Steps to ensure the safety of the Public and No Steps to prevent the crime.
Furthermore, the OPP officers in the car took No Steps to prevent the escape of the criminals - both are still at large. These people who have serious charges against them are still free to commit additonal crimes against other officers and/or residents. The danger to the public is real and the OPP did nothing to try to prevent the escape. The OPP were not swarmed by a superior number of Natives. The OPP either failed at their duty or were under orders, that even in attempted murder event you are to 'stand down'. |

Residents attempt to arrest two OPP officers in their car.
|
|
| Within seconds more residents had arrived on the scene. Immediately one resident confronted the two OPP officers in their car. The resident claimed the officers had aided & abetted in the stealing of the van because they just stood there and watched it happen. The resident wanted to do a citizen's arrest and demanded their names.
The OPP just gave them the finger and put up their window. The resident then phoned RCMP and requested they come and arrest two OPP officers for 'aiding & abetting'. Once the RCMP found out it was happening in Caledonia the RCMP told the resident not to call them and hung up. By now other OPP cars had arrived. They quickly got the two US ATF officers out of the area. Next they quickly removed the two OPP officers that were still in their car and quickly got them out of the area as well. To this day the residents do not know the name or badge numbers of these officers. |
|
| The mid-50s Bell Repairman was gone in a flash, leaving behind his tools, etc., He picked them up 8 hours later.
The Police took witness statements and since then they have taken W1's statement two more times. Each time W1 is told that they either lost or mis-placed his previous statements. Eyewitnesses report, "Shortly thereafter a vehicle containing 3 law enforcement officers 2 of which were from the United States was literally "car-jacked" in front of my home while 2 O.P.P. officers watched it occur. I was getting ready for work at the time so I did not get out of the shower and onto the street until it was virtually over however... the male aborginal approaching the officers assigned to the checkpoint was witnessed by all on the street. The aboriginal who had just committed a serious assault, theft of a (for all intents and purposes) police vehicle in front of these officers approached them with his hands outstreched stating "arrest me, c'mon arrest me" the officers did not move, the aboriginal then turned to the crowd of residents now on the street watching this and stated loudly "you see your fucking cops can't touch us, your all next". He then re-entered the stolen vehicle and drove it across a neighbours lawn onto the DCE and away into the trees. The vehicle was returned a while later after Clyde Powless arranged for it however the interior had been destroyed and smeared with human excrement and urine." |

Bold Face Lie or Being Mislead
|
|
|
Mr. Brown, lawyer for the Attorney General, stated this past Monday that there is no evidence that authorities have neglected their duty in enforcing the law - well, look at the example above.
Either Mr. Brown is a bold face liar or the OPP have failed to provide the Attorney General with the information above. Which is it? |
