This is what many residents have sent to the township.  We are receiving notices of taxes being in arrears and interest penalties.   We have raised the issue with the Mayor, taxation office, and politicians.  No one gets one penny from me unless they bring me to court and prove that they are entitled to the cash.

Dear Sir/Madame,

Re:  The breaking of the Covenant by Corporation of Haldimand towards xxx and xxxxxx

Due to the lack of law enforcement in Caledonia and the uncertainty over who holds the deed to my home, I feel it is inequitable that you take property taxes from me at this time.

            Should Law and Order, be restored, I will gladly resume my payment of taxes.

Please inform me should the ownership of Caledonia properties be guaranteed by the Township with the backing of the Province and Federal Government.
