Please attach the following statement to the post as we cherish the relationship we have held with our Native friends and want them to know that our fight is with the Government not the Natives of Ohsweken.
Hi Ted:
Just a note to remind you of your duties to the taxpayers of Ontario as an elected representative of the Government.
Now that your Government has so generously awarded yourselves with over 25% wage increases I would expect that you would want to take hold and try to earn your new found windfall in wages.
I might add that I also worked for the Government and I was never awarded such outlandish wage increases and as a matter of fact the Liberal Government under power through most of my career were very careful to limit my wage increases to a meagre pittance and even found it fit and politically correct to freeze my wages for almost 9 years.
I have talked with you in the past about the issues in Caledonia such as the lack of visible Law and Order, the biased treatment of the Caledonia residents compared to the blind eye approach taken by the OPP to all of the continuing Native criminal offences.
We talked about the OPP standing by while Native protesters tore up a public road, assaulted CHTV camera Crew Members and attacked a defenceless old couple in the car at Canadian Tire. Yes I was there to witness the cowardly acts perpetrated by the gutless Native protesters on these people and the more cowardly acts committed by the very people who are tasked with upholding justice in our country, our paid police officers. I was baffled why the police who are trained for this type of criminal activity, and are equipped with the tools they need to suppress this type of behaviour stood by and actually let these Native Criminals get away with these terrorist acts.
I have also been present when these very same police officers take down a Canadian Citizen for trying to hang a Canadian Flag, lead him away under immediate arrest and incarcerate him overnight for an offence that doesn't even exist.
If there was such an offence Ted tell me why the Natives are not arrested for breach of the peace when they commit far worse acts on the people of Caledonia under the full view of the attending Police?
Why is it OK for Natives to hang flags all over the place, light illegal bonfires, destroy private and public property, tear through a crowd with pickup trucks full of screaming Natives squealing tires entering upon private property and pushing the owner and ordering him off of it, knocking down Canadian Flags on private property, building shacks without building permits, tearing down houses without demolition permits and modifying houses without building permits.
What I am trying to point out to you Ted is that this Government is setting the standard for conduct in Ontario. This conduct that your government has demonstrated that it is prepared to accept if individuals will resist strongly enough will and should now apply to everyone not just to a handful of Native protesters.
You see Ted when the Government allows Anarchy to become the norm you can no longer enforce your arbitrary laws on anyone if you pick and choose who will be arrested for non compliance. We might even stop paying taxes and then where would your pay cheque come from?
You can no longer expect Farmers and property owners to honour drainage and water conservation laws if you are not prepared to apply them to everyone.
You cannot expect me or anyone else to apply and pay for building permits if you do not enforce them for everyone. (even those threatening to become violent should you try)
You cannot expect to have the sanctity of your home if you cannot guaranty the sanctity of mine. I have been told by OPP on the site that they cannot act on trespass complaints because it is a civil matter when two opposing individuals lay claim to a piece of property. By that argument Ted I could come to your house walk in sit down and announce to you that I own your house and you should leave. By the government and police reasoning told to me since this thing began any deranged person could occupy anybody's house and announce that I own your house you have to leave. It doesn't seem to matter in Ipperwash's or Caledonia's Case if one person has a certified title paper to the property.
If this reasoning continues I might suggest to other like concerned taxpayers in Ontario that we should move into the politicians' homes and take over ownership. After all according to the Liberal Government and OPP it would be a civil issue that would be settled in Court. Meanwhile we would enjoy your house while you hopelessly tried to get us removed through the courts over several years of cleverly orchestrated legal delays. I guess all we would have to do to get the OPP and the Liberal Government to back off would be to tell you that we won't be able to guarantee your safety.
I hope you are starting to get the picture of where this blind eye approach can lead a government.
I know in my heart that what the OPP and the Liberal Government have been telling me is the truth and "There is no Two Tier Justice in Ontario" so I would expect that when I come to your house to move in you will peacefully give it up, move away, keep up the mortgage, tax and utilities payments while you frustratingly try to get a hopeless situation resolved.
I would also expect that under this system of Non Two Tiered Justice I would also be left alone and not get arrested for trespass while enjoying the protection of the OPP.
Ted I cannot express the disappointment I feel in the handling of this situation by the Government of the day and the very bad policing from the OPP. I have personally experienced the two tiered justice and have been studying it well to understand how I can use it to effectively get equal treatment to the Natives.
I have come to the conclusion that to get what they get I must become what they have become and I must conduct my daily business as they conduct theirs. After all there is no two tier justice in Ontario so I would of course be treated with all of the same leniencies that you have shown them. The one thing I would not do though is assault a police officer because I have come to realize that if I should occupy your house and inconvenience you they would protect me just like they do for the Natives.
Canada and Ontario You just have to Love them it can't get any better than that.
Ted we posted our property adjacent to Douglas Creek with No Trespass Signs and took back our land because when we asked you and your Government for help you ignored us and turned your back on us. (See www.caledoniawakeupcall.com Video Jan 10 CHTV news Native tresspasses to take down Canadian Flag Headlines)
Now that we have exercised our right of ownership of this property we are once again asking you to repair the damaged storm drain on the Ontario Owned Douglas Creek Estates so the corner of our property is no longer flooded and the runoff from our parking lot and roof will have an outlet as was promised us by Haldimand County when we purchased this property.
In the interim we are going to continue with our building plans. From our excellent vantage point right next to the Douglas Creek Estates we have observed that the rule of law in Haldimand does not exist and since none of the Native occupiers have been served with any type of penalties for all of their building Code and planning violations we can only assume that since there is not a two tier system we can commence with our construction plans without any fear of government interference just as you have demonstrated you are prepared to accept from the Native Occupiers.
We will of course choose to build everything to code and good science since we want this building to stand for a long time as a symbol of no Two Tier Justice in Ontario.
While we are on the subject could you send out a request for any building supplies and donations of food and equipment that we may need to complete our project.
And oh yea Ted could you please arrange for your Government to connect up the free Hydro and Water to our site as well. We will be needing power to run our equipment, lights and heaters for construction. After all, all we want is to be equal to the Native occupiers.
Ted thanks for reading my memo I do have some very good video of what the Natives get away with under the blind eye of the OPP should you choose to meet with me to discuss the issues.
I am sending copies of this to my son at Caledonia Music and to The Caledonia Wakeup Call web site as I feel that is the best venue to enlighten all of Ontario as to where we should be heading with this. Who knows maybe someone out there thinks your house is better that his and he might want to come and claim yours.
I must point out that I am not affiliated with the Caledonia Wake UP Call or Gary McHale but I do support his activities and feel that without him Caledonia would have long ago been forgotten and would become another Ipperwash. His actions and web site will become even more important later on this year when the election campaigning starts.
I hope to meet up with you often on your campaign trail this fall and I intend to hold you and your Government accountable for your inactions.
I await your response.
