Protestors Heading For O-P-P Commissioner's House?

HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - A group upset with policing in Caledonia is taking its frustration to provincial police Commissioner Julian Fantino's doorstep.

The activists are planning a demonstration on Sunday at noon, out front of Fantino's home in Woodbridge.

The move is being condemned by Conservative Leader John Tory, who says the protest will do more harm than good.

Tory says he and Fantino understand that protest and public commentary come with their jobs, but says their families and homes should be left out of it.

Organizer Merlyn Kinrade makes no apologies and says Fantino has to realize he has to do something.

The activists have long argued police have instituted two-tier justice in Caledonia and claim the police have not investigated and charged aboriginals who have committed crimes during the last two years.
