OPP Commisioner Julian Fantino picked a funny time to suddenly visit Caledonia. While protesters were voicing their complaints outside his home in Woodbridge yesterday, Fantino was in a Caledonia Tim Hortons.

"Is he there because we're here?" asked Ray Robitaille, who was among a group of Caledonia residents who converged on Fantino's home.

The protesters weren't sure what to make of Fantino's decision to meet with the locals in Caledonia while the well-publicized protest outside his home was taking place.

Haldimand OPP detachment Commander Dave McLean said the commissioner looked over the newly renovated building in Cayuga and then decided to go for a "quick coffee" in Caledonia.
