Letter - Keep Money for Lawsuit

The Regional

September 28, 2011

I was shocked to read that our mayor and council are undermining our moratorium on industrial wind turbines and instead mayor Hewitt is giving his blessing for what in my opinion is a $200 million bribe.

I can only assume that our mayor and council are only concerned with the citizens living north of Hwy. #3 because everyone south of that is being sold down the river.

If you look at the map you will see 200+ IWTs in an area approx. 15 km wide and 80 km long. Each turbine is over 400ft tall. No matter which way you turn you will see one.

I sure hope they keep some of that $200 million to offset the forthcoming lawsuits from residents that may get sick and from loss of property values.
